HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE CHANEL FASHION SHOW?

I though I was in heaven a dozen years ago when my parents took me to Disneyland. I was smiling for the two days I was there, jumping around and taking pictures with my yellow, single use Kodak.

I was wrong. I grew up, swapped Mickey for fashion and my yellow Kodak for my Iphone. And then, came the 2014 Fall / Winter Chanel Fashion show. I realized NOW was heaven. It was PERFECTION. Chanel felt PERFECT.

No wonder all the blogs are talking about it: the Super Market idea, the feeling of entering a Women's Dream etc. All products were ACTUAL products: rice, soap, detergent, wine etc. and all were not to be taken with you after the show (pity).

Cara Delevigne opened the show. All models followed and instead of going backstage, they stayed in the "shopping" space. AMAZING. Karl Lagerfeld  closed the show, walking the along with Cara Delevigne.

In few words, it was not a fashion show per se but rather an art work emphasizing on Chanel clothing and accessories being worn as an everyday, casual outfit (hence the "tailleur" and sneakers combo), as if you were going... to the Super Market.

I proceeded to the "cashier" (or in other words, the exit) with satisfaction and happiness where we also got our take away gifts (containing 3 Nail Polish and a Lip Gloss).

BOOTS TO DIE FOR..

Oh my God, oh my God. I need to find the Isabel Marant fringe black boots.

Fall / Winter 2011 - Isabel Marant

I looked everywhere from London to Mexico and no stocks are available. Is this insane or what? We are talking about 1000 Euros buy! Even in Greece, where they only got them in white (white boots, ughhh), no stocks were available a week after they got them. I just don't get it.

Supposedly, there is a financial worldwide crisis which for some very odd reason, fashion is not being very much invloved in. Well, good for the designers, bad for those who are fashionistas trying to explore the market for a dress similar to the one that dear Isabel or Diane would have designed.

Anyway, let’s go back to the limited fringe black boots stock… I have to find a way to procur myself those boots and believe me… fringe is in, black is in… Isabel Marant is sooo in! And by the way, in case it is not clear enough, those are my “items-to- get” for winter!

AS SEEN ON THE WEB: The Skeleton Belt

I love it love it love it.

It reminds me of a McQueen mixed with a quite important touch of Goth! Jewelery Designer Delfina Delettrez, a spiritual, young maniac of the human skeleton, creepy reptiles and bones  has once again proved that fashion does not need to follow a trend.
